This trio of trouble will be staying on here at Fernbriar to be our next show hopefuls - look for them in the ring in 2009.
For the time being, however, their schedules will be heavily filled with running, chewing, & growing, along with some socializing,
training, & people schmoozing.
Terrific Trio
We decided to get in a little practice for our first shows by attending
a couple of puppy fun matches in Nov & Dec.

At the North Star Herding Group Club match in Nov, Boogie went
BOB over both of his sisters & several older puppies & then just
missed going Best in Match by being awarded the Group 2nd.

In December, we attended both days of matches at Animal Inn in
Lake Elmo.  On Saturday, Boogie was BOB over his sisters  &
received a Group 3.  On Sunday Colbie was BOB & got a Group 3 of
her own.
The kids attended their first real dog show, the big Land O Lakes show in St. Paul, MN on the first week of 2009, just a week after turning 6 mos. old.  
They didn't come home with any points, but they handled all of the commotion of such a large venue very well, including rides in elevators,
as well as proving that they could behave themselves in a hotel room.
They still have a lot of growing & maturing to do, so we know their best days are still ahead of them, & look forward to being there with them.
