Berry's Performance Career
What a Great Way to Start 2006!
Mackenzie & Berry earned their NJP
title with back to back perfect scores
& first places at the Land O' Lakes
trial on January 6 & 7.
Once she had finished her CH title,
Berry was ready to run!  She was
handled exclusively by the much
faster Mackenzie, with the goal of
achieving a few titles at the end of
her name.
2006 CWCCA National
Mac & Berry's debut in the
Open Jumpers ring brought a
qualifying score & 2nd place in
the 8" division of Open
Jumpers Preferred.
Berry & Mackenzie
earned their first 2 legs
towards a Novice

Berry & Mac -
Agility Title #2!
October 8th, 2006 -

challenging course.
The name just got a little longer...
April 1, 2007 - Indianhead KC, Eau Claire, WI

To ease back into performance events after taking time out for
puppies, Berry & Mac hit the Rally Obedience ring, looking to add a
couple more letters to the end of Berry's name.  In just 4 attempts,
they had the 3 Q's they needed to add a Rally Novice title to their list
of accomplishments.

Then it was back to agility training...
At it again...
In their first foray back into the agility ring after puppies, Berry
& Mac showed the home crowd how it's done.  They earned
Berry's Open Jumper's Preferred (OJP) title at the Rochester
Kennel Club trial in September with a beautiful run that was
almost 4 seconds under course time, earning them a perfect
score & 1st place.
This page has been put together to compile an accounting of what she achieved during
her short career representing Fernbriar as a performance dog.  Our hope is that she was
able to pass her natural drive & ability for agility on to her offspring.
Finale...
After having puppies in June of 08, & then suffering a debilitating
back injury in Sept. 08, we felt like Berry was in shape enough to
be able to go back to her favorite thing...agility.
At the 2009 CWCCA National in Topeka, KS, Berry & Mackenzie
had a beautiful run on a challenging course, including a nice run
thru the set of 12 weave poles (which had always been her
"achilles heel" in the past).  They earned a perfect score of 100 &
were the only competitors in the 8" Open JWW class to qualify.

We hope her kids realize what a set of shoes they are going to
have to fill...
